Christ in Chillicothe 2017

This year, we will serve three families from Ross County.  We’ll be giving Ruth’s home a new coat of paint and cleaning out her gutters.  Let’s pray for good weather.  Rick and Marla have given us the opportunity to make their home a safer place to live by building them a deck and steps that will give them a base for a ramp in the future.  And we’ll help Carol with some yard work and clean the gutters on her home.  All of this is supported by members of the congregation who will be making dinner for us in the evening.  Finally, on FryDay, we’ll all have the chance to help the Marc Leeth with the Annual Fish Fry that has become very popular.  May the Lord of All continue to bless us with good health, good weather, and good fellowship!

Christ in Chillicothe began in June 2002 when teens from Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church traveled to Chillicothe to serve local families alongside the youth from Our Savior Lutheran Church.  Over the years, they’ve built wheelchair ramps, hosted community Give-Away Days, and hauled trash to a local recycling center.  Along the way, they’ve listened to people tell their story and been blessed by our Lord and Savior.
